AISearch Pulse

AISearch Pulse: your privacy and our terms, explained

This page explains, in plain English, what the AISearch Pulse Chrome extension does with your information, what you pay, and what your rights are. It is a guide only. The full documents are:

If this page and those documents ever differ, the full documents apply.

Who makes Pulse

Pulse is made by AISearch Global, a business run by Viveka Mohan Das in Sydney, New South Wales. ABN 13 490 201 041. Email [email protected]. Phone +61 2 4019 2419. Postal address: 33 Watkins Cres, Currans Hill NSW 2567.

What Pulse collects, and where it goes

Pulse is built so that most things stay on your own computer. Some features only work by sending information to another service. Here is each one.

What the extension can see

Pulse asks Chrome for only four permissions: activeTab, scripting, storage and alarms. It has no permission to read websites in the background. It reads the site in your current tab only when you click Scan. If you turn on the link check, it fetches pages from that same site only. It does not collect your browsing history.

1. Your browser (stays with you)

Your saved reports, scan trend history (the last 8 scans for each web address, scores only) and AI run history are saved in your own Chrome browser. We do not get a copy. You can delete them at any time by clearing Pulse's data or removing the extension.

2. Our Cloudflare server and Google (site checks)

For the security, DNS, header, page speed, and malware and phishing checks, Pulse sends the scanned page's address (URL) to our server, a Cloudflare Worker. The server passes it on to Google for the page speed check and the malware and phishing check (Google Web Risk). Malware and phishing results are an "Advisory provided by Google". No list is perfect: an unsafe site may be missed, and a safe site may be flagged by mistake.

3. Perplexity and Gemini (AI runs)

Included runs: your questions go to our Cloudflare server, which forwards them to Perplexity and Google Gemini using our API keys. Our server does not store or log the question text. It does keep a count of your runs, and a run ID for each one, for each month, linked to your licence. This is how we track your included runs. These records are kept until deleted.

Runs on your own API keys: your questions go straight from your browser to Perplexity or Google. They never reach our server.

Perplexity and Google handle the questions under their own privacy policies, so don't put personal or confidential details in your questions.

4. Cloudflare licence server

When you activate or use Pulse, your licence key is checked by our licence server, a Cloudflare Worker. Our website is also hosted on Cloudflare.

5. Stripe (payments) and Resend (licence emails)

Stripe takes your payment and holds your card details. We never see your full card number. Stripe gives us your name, email address and payment status. Your licence key is emailed to you through Resend, from [email protected].

What we never do

Our use of information follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Information that goes overseas

Our server runs on Cloudflare's global network, at the location nearest you, which may be outside Australia. Cloudflare, Perplexity, Google, Resend and Stripe may also process information in the United States and other countries.

What Pulse costs

All prices are in Australian dollars. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Payment is taken by Stripe only, and we accept Australian billing only.

Yearly subscription: A$99 a year

Includes technical checks and AI runs on Perplexity and Gemini. It renews every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Stripe receipt, and your licence keeps working to the end of the year you paid for.

Founding price: first 50 members

Refunds

Change of mind: 14 days

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason, as long as 2 or fewer AI runs have been used.

Email [email protected] with your Stripe receipt or licence key. Refunds go back to your card through Stripe.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights always apply

The 14-day periods and the 2-run limit apply only to change-of-mind refunds. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If Pulse has a major failure, is not as described, or is not fit for the purpose we told you about, you are entitled to a remedy, including a refund where the law provides one, however many AI runs you have used and however long ago you bought it. If a problem is not major, we will fix it within a reasonable time. If we don't, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part.

What Pulse is not

No certificate, badge or proof of compliance

Pulse does not certify, verify or approve any website. It issues no certificate, badge or proof of compliance, and you should not say that a site has been certified by Pulse or AISearch Global.

An automated check, not human work

Pulse is an automated first look. It does not replace a human review, a professional audit, or legal, security, privacy or accessibility advice. A pass on a check is not proof that a site is secure, private, accessible or legal. A check that could not run is not a pass.

No promise of AI mentions

A good score does not guarantee that AI tools or search engines will name your business. AI answers change from day to day and can be wrong. They are not a ranking.

If something goes wrong

Email [email protected]. For a privacy complaint, if you are not happy with our reply you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. For a consumer issue, you can contact NSW Fair Trading.

FAQ

Does Pulse see my browsing history?

No. Pulse has no permission to read sites in the background. It reads only the site in your current tab, when you click Scan.

Where are my scan results stored?

In your own browser. Saved reports and history stay there. Scan trend history keeps the last 8 scans for each web address, scores only.

Why does Pulse send web addresses to Google?

To check the page against Google's malware and phishing lists and to measure page speed. Only the page address is sent, through our server.

Who sees the questions in my AI runs?

For included runs, Perplexity and Google Gemini, which answer them. The questions pass through our Cloudflare server, which does not store them. For runs on your own API keys, the questions go straight from your browser to Perplexity or Google.

Do you see my card details?

No. Stripe handles payment. We see your name, email address and whether you have paid.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days for a change of mind if 2 or fewer AI runs have been used. If Pulse has a major failure or is not as described, your Australian Consumer Law rights apply whatever your usage.

What happens to my founding price if I cancel?

Your founding spot ends. If you come back, you pay the price at that time as a new member.

Will my A$99 go up?

Not while your subscription stays active, unless our costs rise significantly. In that case we give at least 30 days' notice before your renewal, and you can cancel first.

Does a high score mean my site is certified?

No. Pulse issues no certificate or badge, and a score is not proof of compliance.

How do I ask what information you hold about me?

Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within 30 days.
