AISearch Global ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, manage, store, and disclose personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Personal Information We Collect
We only collect personal and business information that is reasonably necessary to provide our AI visibility audits and website optimisation services, including AEO calculator scans:
- Contact Information and Inquiries: Your name, email address, phone number, company name, and website URL when you fill out an audit request or reach out to us.
- AEO Score Calculator Scan Data: The website URL you enter, selected industry, business location, consent selections, score, grade, benchmark data, and the result text generated by the calculator.
- Website Usage Data: Anonymized technical logs automatically provided by your browser, including your IP address, browser type, and how you interact with our platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We hold and use your data strictly for primary business purposes, including to:
- Analyse and improve your visibility across AI search and answer platforms.
- Generate and deliver your customized visibility audits and optimisation strategies.
- Store AEO calculator scans for up to 90 days for reporting, review, and service delivery purposes, after which the scans are automatically deleted unless we are required to retain them by law.
- Conduct internal research to improve the accuracy of our AEO scoring methodology and develop industry benchmarks. This research uses aggregated scan data and does not identify individual users.
- Protect the integrity of our free tools. Scan data is retained to detect and prevent automated abuse, bad-faith submissions, and misuse of the AEO Score Calculator.
- Maintain, secure, and improve our website performance.
3. Data Sharing and Overseas Transfers
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data. We only share information with trusted cloud infrastructure providers and software partners essential to running our analysis checks and delivering our services.
Some of our cloud infrastructure service providers may store data on servers located outside of Australia (such as in the United States). Where cross-border data transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected in a manner consistent with Australian privacy regulations.
4. Direct Marketing
If you opt in to promotions and updates, we may use your contact details to send you marketing communications about AISearch Global services, content, and offers. This consent is separate from the privacy consent required to run the calculator. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us directly.
5. Data Retention and Security
We retain AEO calculator scan data for 90 days, after which it is deleted from our server unless we are required by law to keep it longer. Other information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal obligations. We implement industry-standard administrative and technical security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
6. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
